Ads? What ads?

Remember, that if you use programs like HostsMan, you can manually add sites you want to block, such as Google text ads, known malware sites and more.

The default lists that you can download within HostsMan do not block Google text ads, so you can add them from the Tools/HostsMan Editor menu. These lists though, usually keep up to date on all known malware sites.

If you don't use HostsMan, you can add lines to your Hosts file, using a text editor.
The Hosts file is located in one of the following directories:

Windows 9x, ME:C:\WINDOWS
Windows NT/2K: C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc
Windows 2K/XP,/2003/Vista7: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

To block the sites I've just mentioned, you would the following lines to your Hosts file:

127.0.0.1 SomeSiteYouWantToBlock.com
127.0.0.1 pagead.googlesyndication.com
127.0.0.1 pagead2.googlesyndication.com

See how simple it is?
